International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publication (INASP). GINKS has been working with INASP in the past one and half years by building capacities of policy makers, NGOs and Research Scientist in Information Literacy, E-resources and Evidence Informed-Policy Making.

 

The International Institute for Communication and Development (IICD) a non-profit foundation that specialises in information and communication technologies (ICTs) as a tool for development. They assist various countries in Africa, Latin-America and the Caribbean to improve development within the fields of education, environment, good governance, health and livelihood opportunities. IICD brings knowledge, innovation and finance together with partners from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.


 
The International Development and Research Centre (IDRC) a Canadian Crown corporation that works in close collaboration with researchers from the developing world in their search for the means to build healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous societies.

 
The Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE), Ghana's first Advanced Information Technology Institute works to stimulate the growth of the ICT Sector in ECOWAS. Established in 2003, through a partnership between the Government of Ghana and the Government of India, this state-of the-art facility provides a dynamic environment for innovation, teaching and learning as well as practical research on the application of ICT4D in Africa.

  Savana Signature (SavSign) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization in Ghana that has developed keen interest in the empowerment of youth and women through education. This is done mainly through and with the use of Information and Communication Technologies. Read more

 
Connect4Change Ghana

Connect4Change is a consortium of five Dutch development organisations (Akvo, Cordaid, Edukans, ICCO, IICD and preferred partner Text to Change ) who joined hands to accelerate the development of people in Africa and Latin America by using Information and Communication Technology (ICT). C4C is a 5 year aid programme that aims to strengthen partner organisations through the sustainable use of ICT. Read more

 
Community Information Centre Initiative (CIC)

Ghana’s Ministry of Communications is constructing 230 Community Information Centres (CICs). These centres serve as electronic libraries where people from remotely located areas can look up information about topics such as farming, education and healthcare. More

Akvo builds open source internet and mobile software which is used to make international development cooperation and aid activity more effective and transparent. We provide the software as a service to the vast majority of the organisations we work with, backed by a partner-support and training team. Read more
